Installation of Web Parts

To install Web Parts

1. Go to your extracted YourPackage.zip folder, expand the Web_Parts folder, select all web parts located in that folder (Ctrl+A), and copy them to your clipboard (Ctrl+C).
   
   *IMPORTANT:
   

   For Foundation 2013 copy only web parts with .dwp file extension. Foundation does not support Summary Link web parts).

2. Open http://YourSharePointSite (your top-level site) in SharePoint Designer, click All Files (left pane), and expand _catalogs/wp (Web Part Gallery) folder (right pane).
3. Paste the files from your clipboard into wp (Web Part Gallery) folder.
   

- OR - (if you prefer to use your browser instead of SharePoint Designer)


1. From your browser open http://YourSharePointSite (your top-level site) -> Go to Site Settings -> Web parts (under Web Designer Galleries).
2. Click Files tab in the Ribbon Area -> Upload Document -> Browse to Web_Parts folder in your extracted YourPackage.zip -> Upload all Web Parts located in that folder (For Foundation 2013 upload only web parts with .dwp file extension. Foundation does not support Summary Link web parts).
   
   

   All custom web parts will be stored under Web Part/Miscellaneous category.
